Founder & President

Meet Amanda Stanton

Founder & President


Amanda Stanton grew up in her father's John Deere dealership. She has many memories of visiting farms, attending Equipment Dealer Association and Connecticut Farm Bureau meetings, and answering the phone at the dealership. Amanda loved watching her mom whip up meals for her and her four siblings with whatever her dad brought home from the farm that day. Her mom, Sheryl, is passionate about locally sourced ingredients and a fabulous cook!

Amanda joined Stanton Equipment full time after graduating from Bryant University and working outside of the industry for three years. The first thing she took over from her father, Scot, was marketing the dealerships. With the support of the fantastic team at Stanton Equipment, marketing representatives and John Deere, she launched new marketing initiatives and maximized the effectiveness of their co-op marketing budget. This was just a small piece of what she accomplished at Stanton Equipment, but we are here to talk about Marketing so we will keep it at that! Unfortunately in 2020, Scot passed away at just 62 years old. His contributions to agriculture were recognized by the farming community across the state with a tractor drive by funeral. His advocacy and support for farmers and agri-business was admired by many, especially Amanda. The same year, Stanton Equipment was acquired by United Ag & Turf Northeast and merged with 10 other dealership groups. Amanda served as the Marketing Manager during the transition and learned a LOT while merging 29 dealer locations into one comprehensive marketing program. 

Amanda recognized that her heart stayed with family owned dealerships and businesses, launching Stanton Marketing in 2021. Her reputation proceeded her, and in her words "we were incredibly fortunate to have clients reaching out to us before opening our doors. We have quickly grown from a one person consulting business to a team of five supporting clients across North America and the agricultural industry in Connecticut."

Amanda is passionate about equal access to fresh food, providing a supportive, flexible, and empowering work environment, and (of course) supporting our local farmers. Stanton Marketing dedicates time and resources to promoting agriculture in Connecticut.  You can see Amanda on NBC's CT Live show sharing how Connecticut residents can support their local farms!

Meet Alyssa

Marketing Coordinator

Alyssa joined the team in February 2023. Having the opportunity to work from home has been such a blessing - especially when you have a toddler to chase around! She loves being able to learn more and more about the agricultural world and displaying her creativity! Creating and art have always been a passion of hers. When she’s not always behind a computer - you can also find her with the fam engaging with local farmers at weekly farmers markets all around Connecticut! 


Meet Molly

Molly started working part time with Stanton Marketing over the summer, while transitioning out of teaching. She loves being able to explore her creative side with some of the content creating, but her main focus is contributing to the Stanton Blog. Writing has always been a huge passion of hers, so being able to utilize her talents to help educate people on how to incorporate local farms into their homes has a blast! Her favorite part is that she can pick up and work at any time with this SUPER flexible schedule- who doesn't love that?! You can find her juggling her laptop with the craziness of her two kids, husband, and dog.

Meet Jen

Jen is the keeper of coordination for Amanda and the team, and a lover of all things dairy! Her passion for agriculture started at a very early age, and only grew as she got older, as she completed three different degree areas in the field of agriculture. She came from the world of agriculture education prior to starting at Stanton Marketing, and has never looked back. She loves helping keep things organized and flowing in the day to day for the business; she handles office administration, dabbles in content creation, and contributes to some of the Stanton Marketing blogs. When she isn’t trying to help Amanda stay sane, you can find her gardening, canning, baking, eating ice cream and hanging out with her two dogs, Drake and Finnley.

Meet Kristen

Kristen is our pun queen and one of our content creators. She loves a good theme & you can find her behind the scenes planning events. Since starting at Stanton Marketing, her eyes have been opened to the agriculture world and she’s excited about bringing awareness & support to the community while being able to explore her creativity. She enjoys going to the gym and spending time with her family. She loves the beach & baking with her two children, which brings us to her sweet tooth! You can count on her to order ALL the desserts because why choose just one?
