Spring into Salads!

Last summer, we brought you some delicious salads to keep you going through the warm summer months! The summer Sunday salads were such a big hit that we knew we had to do it again. This year though - I thought “why wait for summer?” I know after hibernating and eating to excess all winter, my body is begging me to incorporate some healthier choices into my day. What better time to start getting motivated in the kitchen than the springtime?!

Spring is the perfect time to incorporate fresh, colorful ingredients that bring flavor to your plate. As farmers’ markets start to fill with different greens, crisp vegetables, and fragrant herbs, it becomes easier—and more exciting—to toss together meals that feel light yet satisfying. 

Earlier in the month, we introduced the season’s freshest farm produce in our What’s In Season: Spring Edition blog. Now, we’re taking it a step further by sharing some mouthwatering salad recipes that make the most of those spring ingredients. While we can’t take credit for creating these flavorful dishes, we’re grateful to the talented chefs and foodies who shared them on Pinterest.
