What We Do
The Pink Tractor Crew is an initiative & community that educates Connecticut residents on incorporating Connecticut agriculture into their daily lives. We accomplish this through sharing farm visits, events, resources, recipes, & more on our social media channels, media appearances, and fostering partnerships between local businesses and farms.
Why We Do It
Agriculture is critically important to every single resident of Connecticut. It is crucial that we support our local farms, or they will cease to exist. Connecting Connecticut residents with resources, ideas, events, and more that directly support their local farms will strengthen our food system.
Food access is not equal across communities in Connecticut. For a state as wealthy as ours, it is shameful that many of our residents go hungry. We have worked on projects with CT Foodshare and farmers to increase access to fresh, culturally connected foods.
