The Raw Truth!

Fun fact: Did you know you can eat corn on the cob raw? You heard me right! Raw! Most people assume that corn on the cob has to be cooked before eating, but in actually, it is perfectly safe and healthy to eat it uncooked. Just make sure to thoroughly wash and clean it before indulging!

If you’re not feeling so adventurous you can always cook it! When it comes time to cook your corn, there are SO many options. I’ve tried various ways to cook my corn, but my personal favorite is to steam 6 ears of corn at a time for approximately 4-5 minutes. Here are some other ways you can cook your corn:

  • Boil 

  • Grill (with husk on OR off)

  • Microwave

  • Roast
